1500 vs. 2500 ram chassis

I searched numerous times a while back for an answer to this question on google and here, and never found anything definitive. Are the 2500 chassis any stronger than the 1500? I know the suspension and drivetrain will be different, but i'm curious about the frame itself

If you look in the Frame section of the '01 FSM, it shows the frame dimensions. The portion of the frame at the rear cab mount and front box mounts is 54mm taller on the HD frame than the LD frame. Everything else dimensions the same.

The frame in 1500 and 2500 quad cab with short bed are the same.
