17" drag tires

Does anybody have a connection for 17" tires? Looking for a something around
30"-32" diameter and 12 to 14 tread width. Wanting to turn a dually into a super single rear. a 17x14 rim would be great too!

Good luck finding those, I check everywhere the biggest I could fine was M&H 390/40/17 and they are only 29inches tall.

Dan you got 16's on the 3rd gen with out grinding? I ran a 1/2 spacer and still had to grind the crap out of the rear calipers...

On my shops drag truck we swapped to 2nd gen rotors and calipers I think the front had a small modification but nothing major.

You can get slicks 31.5" and 33" tall for a 16" wheel

hell 34.5 for that matter... LOL now you need a 16x16'" wheel but you can get them. I ran 33.5/17/16's on the PS truck.

So you also changed the caliper mounts? and it all fits the 11.5?

Yes all the stuff from a 2000 and newer second gen.

correct backspacing is what you need, front tires will be out so far you might not be able to make the return road turn. the back will need to be under 4'' i think, so a really deep wheel. i have a set of 15X20 wheels with a 3 1/2'' back spacing
