1984 Dodge D350 Crew Cab 12v Twin Turbo

Looks good!, I really like the 205 mounts! Why the electric shut off solenoid? Cable is cleaner and fool proof. I see the A/C compressor is bolted up, are you gonna run A/C now? Cool ya down in the summer!
Thanks,
Deo

I thought about running a cable but i want it to shut off with the key. an i ran the ac compressor im gona run ac in the future and it made the belt routing work better with the electric water pump.

Built the mount to relocate the alternator to work with the new belt routing, i went to measure for a belt and came across one i had laying in my shop and it fits prefect! lucked out on that one i think its one for a 12v with no ac.

I Drilled and pined the crank to add extra protection to the dampnr Also Last night i installed the throttle cable, Swapped the electric fans over to the new radiator since the old one had a lot of rot on it. Then i sat a fender on it just to see how everything will look. I love it it looks alot better now that it is sitting high rather than low when it was 2wd!

Looks real good.

Is that going to be enough belt "wrap" on that a/c compressor?

Hmm I wonder if it is never though of that? I mainly used it to help out with the belt routing. If i get the AC working it will be a plus lol i mainly want to get it runing and driving lol

It will be fine as an idler, but if you get it going you may have to try and add an idler to get a little more wrap on it so it doesn't slip.

Good idea have to see if it will work or if the belt will just slip on it lol

Slow progress the past week. still waiting on the steed speed to show up should be here mid next week hopefully. But in the mean time i have been working on buttoning up the power steering hoses and the fuel supply lines. tonight i built and mounted the fuel filter housing and ran the lines from the lift pump to the filter then to the p pump. still have to run the new supply line from the tank to an inline filter then to the lift pump. Also Got the clutch and brake pedals tied into there master cylinders.

Last night got the cable shifter mocked up for the 205 and installed the front drive shaft. Now time to get some sheet metal work done and build a new transmission tunnel.

Who built the shafts?..they look nice. I'd look at making a tunnel that you can unbolt and remove it to work on trans, and transfercase..
Thanks,
Deo

Drive shaft services in east hartford they are great to work with. i am thinking of making a removable tunnel like on the older trucks for easy access to everything.

I have had more than a few 205's none shifted smooth.. Just how big is that cable?

This one shifts pretty smooth I added adjustable detents so It actualy shifts smooth the cable is about 1/8". I've seen a lot of cable shifters on 205s

The cabe is the only way to go in my mind that's what I used on my 72 for conversion for the trans and I am going to do it on the transfer case
