I have for sale a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. It is an extended cab longbed with a cummins diesel and 47re automatic trans.
The timing was bumped to 17* and had been slightly tuned by me for better mileage. This truck does NOT smoke as ive tuned it to run clean. It does have an aftermarket torque convertor with factory stall from floorit diesel performance. The transmission shifts very well and the truck drives well and gets 18-21mpg hand calculated
Also on the list of add ons:
4" exhaust/cold air intake
18month old B&W turnover ball gooseneck
3rd gen dodge track bar conversion
steering box stabilizer
Tow mirrors(always flipped down)
The truck has 35x12.50 Nitto trail grapplers with a little under a 1/2" of tread on 3rd gen dodge polished aluminum wheels. These tires have been on 2 trucks of mine and were bought new 3 years ago. They still have a lot of life left in them.
The truck does have the normal drivers side seat rip
Needs an AC compressor clutch
Small crack in windshield on drivers side
2 cracks in dash
The lovely dodge paint has some peeling going on
There is some rust but for a 16 year old truck, the truck looks great
I have used this for an occasional truck and have only put 30K of the 246K miles on it since i bought it in May 2010. Its a great truck but im looking to build a crewcab F350 and cummins swap for more room for the kids so its time for this truck to go.
For the $9000, ill put a new windshield, fix the AC, and get you a dash overlay and upper/lower bumper valances.
