I have this listed on Ebay, but figured in all fairness that I should list it here, too.
Asking $7,000/obo which is on the high end for the age, but it is very clean rust wise and it's a hard one to find with it being a 1998 12 valve quad cab 5 speed, TWO WHEEL DRIVE.

I gave a fair description of it on Ebay, which is at this link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281535543763?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

FWIW, I do plan to do some clean-up and get a few more pics taken of the beast.

$5000 gets it, or I'll drive it out in the back lot and part it out later.
I also revised the E-bay listing to reflect the pricing.

Sounds like a deal, mark! I just bought one to turn and I'll ask $5k for it once it's cleaned up. It has more mile and it's a 96.

I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck with yet another parts truck. :(

I'd considered throwing the body on the 6 speed 4WD 2001 frame I have and set the 12 valve down in front of the 6 speed, since 4x4s seem to be more desirable, but I have enough to do, let alone put a truck together just to make a few hundred bucks.

I really do need a cohort and a shop. :)

5k takes it.
It's an old farm truck that idled a LOT, so of course it has leaks.
If you want to discuss it further, call me at 402-780-5127 and I'll give you the highlights.

It looks like the buyer has found me. :D
The auction has been ended.

good deal. 2wd trucks can be a pain to sell, especially diesel 2wd's. They are way easier to come by cheap though. IMO most people don't need a 4wd, and I can usually sell them on that. Most 4wd's are shifted into 4x4 once a year.

I wish this was about 6 months down the road! I'd love to have this truck.

Since I put a 5 speed in the Mutt, this 1998 is back up for sale.
Still asking $5,000, non-negotiable.

No one wants a virtually rust free, quad cab, 12 valve, 5 speed?
I thought these trucks were some big deal?

Sure, it's not something you can just jump in and drive to Timbuktu, but it's priced accordingly.

I now have a set of 6 decent OEM size (215/85/R16) tires that go with it.
Still 5k FIRM.

Needing 5.9 CR stuff, as well as NV4500 cores, or any 48REs.
Anything I can move to buyers.

Listed it on Ebay again.
If it don't go away in peace, it'll leave in pieces.:banghead:
