2-3 shift flare

Is the 2-3 shift flare a bind-up where it's apply 2nd and 3rd at the same time, or is it an RPM flare where if feels like it's not in either gear for a second and forward acceleration stops momentarily?

A bind-up can usually be remedied with a $26 Sonnax intermediate/2nd gear servo cover with the leak free added o-ring upgrade.

A bind-up can sometimes be cured by altering the band adjustment.

It's sometimes difficult to diagnose whether its a flare or a bind-up. RPM spike is usually the dead giveaway that it's a flare.
 
Yes rpm flares up and feels like the truck is in nuetral for a moment. I also have billet accumulator and servo installed.
