I have 2 g56 transmissions for sale. One is a g56r, complete and in great working condition with only 54,000mi. This trans is from behind a 6.7l. I also have a g56 from behind my 07 5.9 with 40,000 but second gear is out. $3000 for the g56r, and $1000 for the g56. Pm me with any questions.
 
Whats the G56r? Is that the new one with the different gear ratio? If so will it fit my 05? My tranny is fine but would like to have a spare for the peace of mind!
 
Yes it is the new one with the higher ratio. I believe its like .69 in stead of .78. It dropped my rpms at 65mph about 300rpms. Big difference. yes it fits behind the 5.9 with no mods.

I will take $2500 for the G56R. I am needing to get rif of it to start my auto swap.
 
Do you still have the g56r? I am looking to do an auto to manual swap. We may be able to help each other.
