2002 24v Short Bed Sleeper Build

Yea, back-half w/ 4 link is going to hook a "little" better than leaf springs. LOL. Wheel/Tire choice makes a huge difference. When I had 20's with 285/50/20 my truck hooked alot better on the street.

My slicks are M&H 12.0 16's on 16x12 wheels, with tubes. They hook very well at 13 psi and run straight down the track with no wondering.

I'm running 245 firestones on 17's right now, and believe it or not they hook better than the 285/50-20's I had before them.


(PS - who knows how 'good' that 4-link really is, driveway built and all)
 
Does the 245/xx/17 has a taller/softer sidewall that the 285/50/20 was? Maybe it allows a better contact patch?
 
oh yeah, definitely. They're also not as 'greasy' a compound as well.
