I'm pulling my head to do studs. While it's off I'm gonna get it surfaced and a valve job. I just ordered some parts to bring the power up by a lot. I've been warned a few times about 2003 valve seats dropping out and wrecking the engine. Should I have the seats staked? Is there a better fix? I am concerned bc I have been told this a few times.

Engine is in this turd, and plan is for 700HP.

From my research the best thing to do is raise the interference fit, like double it to I think ~0.006-8".

I had oversized high nickel seats installed on my head

Thanks for the replies. I spoke to the machine shop, they said they will stake them at no extra charge on the valve job. New seats are about $10 ea. plus labor if I have to go that route. Guess I'll let them tell me which way I should go once they tear it apart.
