Hi everyone, I am in the process of getting everything rounded up for compounds and have a few questions. I have the large turbo which is an s480 and just need to order the Stainless Diesel s300-s400 compound piping kit but am afraid the 3.5 inch cold pipe will not work with my turbo. The s480 has a 4 inch v band compressor outlet and the stainless kit comes with a 3.5 inch cold pipe. Is this right and will it work? Is it a 3.5 inch pipe with a 4 inch v band on it or what?? The kit comes with a 3.5 to 4 inch rubber boot to hook to the smaller turbo but I just need help with the v band side. I cant seem to find any cold pipes that are labeled with a 4 inch v band. If someone could help me out that would be great. Thanks!

Your best bet is to call Stainless Diesel and ask them. I do how ever believe that the s400 compressor discharge is the same size no mater which one you use, so it is most likely not an issue.

I've been trying for days to get ahold of someone and can't, and I believe your right and that's what I thought but I found some s400s with slip on outlets so it made me wonder if there was different options!

this is what I used for 3.5" tubing. and the other is to weld to the secondary to vband both ends.. no boots..

keating makes some really nice stuff and if your handy with a welder you can make all your own piping for a lot less im sure.. hes got the tightest radius' ive found too.. just a thought

Keating is who I use for most of my flanges as well. The 3.5" on stainless kit is the right size though. That's what size you'll use with Keatings flanges also.
