Well folks, as much as I don't want to do it, its time to put my baby up for sale. I want to take a second to highlight on the type of owner I am, some call it OCD, but like anything I own, be it my home or a vehicle, I go over the top for a bold and clean look free of any and all imperfections. My vehicles are climate controlled carpet garage kept (yes this fits in my garage)and Sunday driven. My attention to detail is impeccable, which is supported by what you will read below.

History:
I searched for a year for the right truck, and ended up on an airplane from Delaware to Texas to purchase it, and flat-bed transported 17 hours back to me. This is a grown adult 2 owner vehicle, previous owner was similar to me, driven once a week and garage kept. He owned a successful blacktop/road work business, which he had his business name lettering on the vehicle. I was told by my detail guy when it got home that he could completely compound and buff the truck and get rid of the area where the lettering had existed that at a certain angle and light you could still make out the "shadow" left from vinyl lettering there in the sunshine, and this bothered me. There were a couple fine scratches and a door ding or two, which I wasn't happy with, so I had the entire truck repainted to the tune of 6500$. After that it went into the Linex shop for 4,000$ worth of their top performance Linex for the bumpers, flares, bed, roof, mirrors. Now I was happy. After having it on the road and putting a few miles on her, I started to notice some front end "shimmying" at certain speeds. Off to the local mechanic who is experienced in lifted vehicles, and 4,000$ later every piece of the front end was gone through completely, and rebuilt with new ball joints, tie rod ends, alignment etc. Hoping to add some performance and get her moving a little better and some fuel mileage, I opted to tune the truck with the Bullydog PMT which allowed for monitoring instead of installing gauge pods. Shortly thereafter, 2nd gear started to slip a little, and with some research discovered how fragile the 48RE transmissions were. Off to Accurate Diesel for a Suncoast triple disc/billet input/intermediate/output, etc details below- 6800$ later. So around 21k$ before I was satisfied that everything was done right, and I could enjoy the truck. I have had it almost 3 years, and with some changes within my family and career, I do not foresee the truck being able to be used, and refuse to let it sit in the garage for weeks without being moved.
