2010 VW Touareg TDI

My wife likes the Touareg but I don't know a whole lot about the 6 cylinder diesel that they put in these. Are there any known issues with the motor or trans on these?

I would love the V10 but they seem to be higher priced with more miles on them.

Kind of makes the whole thing suck knowing you settled for a V6 when a V10 was offered as a common factory option and the fuel economy difference is negligible (21-29 for the V6 vs 20-25 for the V10).

Like buying a Mercedes SL350 with a 312hp V6 knowing the 604hp twin-turbo V12 could be in the same space instead.

Ever looked under the hood of a 2.8L V6 Camaro and noticed all the empty space in front of it?

Yeah, it feels like that.
