Ok, not understanding why it has 7 runners instead of 6. By buddys from scheid has 7 also. can someone chime in and exsplain?

Yea not understanding it at all. when we were puting his runner intake on i gess i never payed attion to how many ports was in the head i always asumed 6. hmmmm this is a good way to mess with someone.

A 24 valve head has 7 intake ports. Unfortunatley it doesn't have distinct ports so I don't see the benefit in a runner manifold on a 24 valve. It's a good looking piece though and is definitely better than the stock head. Plus porting requires removal of the side of the head. GLWS

im guessing the 5 big ports feed 2 intake valves and the smaller 2 out side ports feed a single intake valve
