My dad gave me a set of 3rd Gen wheels. I tried them on the front and no issues. I however did not think to try them on the rear. I want to buy new tires for the wheels for when I go home on R&R so I can bolt them up and head to the BD event in Denton. Since I did not try the rears for clearnce I'm asking if anyone has had issues with them on 98' 12v with Dana 70 rear? Thanks

Daniel

Thanks. I had read a rumor that the rear drums would need grinding with the polished wheels. Just wanted to make sure before I order tires and have them sent to the house.

The polished 01' , 02' wheels are 16" the 3rd gens are 17" so no need to grind.

The aluminum's 16"s from a second gen wont fit over 94-99s and some 2000s without grinding on the drum. The 17's from 3rd gens fit just fine. Ive run both steel and aluminum 3rds with no issues other than the studs being a little short for some people on the aluminum ones.

I Only Wish They Had A Few More Inches Of Offset Forgot How Much They Stick In With Flares
