4500 6.7 options?

I'm looking for better fuel economy and less headaches from emissions system.Truck is a brushtruck with flat bed and 400gallon water tank and it idles for long periods of time. Tired of having to drive around at highway speed for it to clear itself. Any one know of programmer or chip that will help and will it hurt to put free flowing exhaust?

Try contacting pdi in St.George UT. I think they have dpf delete kits for that truck. And since it is for fire use you don,t have to worry about emissions any more.

Turn the high idle on when it's just sit'n there for long periods of time. Your truck has the ability to idle above 2,000 RPM.
