Bought the trans locally, kid swapped in a 5 speed because OD was out on this thing, still held power in 1-3 according to him. Went through it and found a torn OD piston seal and fried OD clutches and steels. Put it back together with new parts and took the rest of the trans apart to check things out. Clutches and clearances in forward and direct looked good, put a newer 2nd gear band in it. Supposedly has a shift kit in the VB, I'll go through and confirm one of these days. Comes with a Derale deep cooling pan and a Diamond T billet single Disc converter. The rear cooling line was cracked so I installed the Sonnax repair kit and the converter snout was a little pitted so that was sleeved and the bushing opened up to match. Should be ready to put in a truck, came out of a 1996, will work up to 2000 I believe and later years with some small changes. Asking $1500 obo or trade for something cool, located in Metro Detroit.
