48re overdrive unit

Im wondering the same thing. I have an 06 with a cracked o/d housing. Trans still works perfect, just leaks fluid. A friend at the dealer quoted me $350 for the bare case, new from chrysler. Is there anything from the aftermarket out there?
 
You can use the case from a 47re and swap your internals as an assembly. You will need to switch parking rod from 48re to 47re and it will bolt right up.
