4k or 5k

i currently have 4kgsk in my pump. im contemplating putting 5k in it while it is out. i will be running a 175 pump, westons comp dvs, 5x.018s, with a 66mm turbo. 5 speed dual disk

5k definitely. I have 5ks. If you ran 4ks a 66 wouldn't stay alive off the line with how much the rpm's drop. I ran into this issue a couple weeks ago when one of my throttle linkage guides broke and it cut my throttle travel down to about 25%. I had no choice but to leave the line at 3800 rpm's. 138 feet later they were unhooking the sled. My rpm's dropped to about 2400 and it wasn't enough to stay on top.
