Hello,
Originally I called firepunk wanting their 47re conversion but they said they couldnt do one for a 2wd so I started looking around and found the ats 4r100 conversion kit.
ATS | 4R100 Conversion Kit for 2007.5-2013 Dodge 6.7L 4x4 (*may lose some creature comforts)
ATS | 4R100 Stage 5 Package, 1999-2003 Ford 2wd
So basically it is a little over 10k to do this conversion myself. Ats said that because of 2wd they could not do a billet output shaft but the rest would be the same. To me this sounds like a deal breaker but....Another possibility is buying the ats 6.7 / 4r100 conversion kit but having someone else build the 4r100.
Truck has FP compounds, 350% exceedys, dual fuelers, carillo rods, etc and will mostly be a street truck with some track time.
This 2wd is causing me headaches. Has anyone done this 4r100 conversion in their 6.7 cummins?
