5.9 vs 6.7 CP3

I've heard that you can run a 5.9 cp3 on a 6.7 and vice versa...

But my question is, what all does it take to do so?

I'd like to buy a used modified CP3 from the classifieds soon and want to know that I can make it bolt up/work correctly without trouble.


Please advise...
 
I am interested in the differences of volume they will move. I believe the 6.7 pump should have some additional displacement?
 
I think I read of cummins forum (I know I know) that the 6.7 pump only flowed a couple cc's more then the 5.9. stock for stock not enough to make it an "upgrade"
 
I believe there are hookup difference in the inlet portion of the fuel line.....maybe?
