5k CDS governor spring install

This don't look right to me but I talked to Dan at CDS and he said it would do what it needs to do.

My issue is the I.D. Of the inner heavy spring is not letting itself sit flush on the retainer.

Never mind I installed them as the instructions stated

More responsive than my peak diesel 4k kit. I'm running my stock shims and 4 clicks. starts with out throttle and idles at 1000 to 750 in drive with ac on.

So do you have to shim them do they run right?

Didnt put it in like that correct?

No I don't think it would even run with a factory retainer under that spring.

I like them more than 4ks. Everyone makes them out to be so much drama and from my experience they're not., but they do respond different in other pumps like one that has been benched
