Who has run this combo; 62/65/14 gated over a 80/96/1.32? What are the limitations/problems with the setup? Benefits? Possibly a quick spooling set? Thanks

dual stock pumps and whichever size nozzles will go good with the combo. Somewhere in the range of 50-60lpm?

thinking I might want to find a 62/71 secondary instead, if the 65 will restrict it too much

i think you would be better off with that second choice in a 62(or even a 64) but a 71 ex side has a much better flow for backpressure.. that being said that 65 would spool really fast and add ex gate to it and have the best of all..
i have a ex gate for real cheap that im not going to use now

Use a 62/74 or 64/74 you won't regret it
Also talk to chris at ed and get a 1.10 housing built rather than the 1.32

That was my same set and made over 800 easy

I like my 62/71/13ss over my 80/96/1.32

But I'd love to find out what an 1.10 housing on my s480 would do for drivability and smoke control...

should work great. 1138 on fuel has been done with the 62/65 non wg t3/big external gate and a bigger primary.

Yeah I loved it, smoke control more like smoke less

is the 1.10 the next step down from the 1.32?

I would in no way call it a step down more like optimized for what we use the chargers for rather than a cheap housing BW ships them with

ok maybe i missworded it as a "step down" but yes i meant the next housing size smaller. I think i am going to give it a shot. I would like to see some more p/r coming out of my 491 and im not running the rpm or fuel to spin it to hard yet.. i should maybe wait for my pump to get done do see but im thinking the 1.32 is a bit to loose to make it very efficient on our sized motors.. i guess ill see soon enough..
