my top charger compressor is 60mm, it's basically a HX40

only things different are, HX35 turbine wheel and non wastegated 16cm exaust housing

that's why we call it hybrid HX35/40
 
sorry i misread the post, but yes i made a hybrid out of one of my hx35 once and liked it! But i thought about running twins this year and was thinking about a hx35 with like a s400 71mm with a 1.10ar and putting a external wastesgate on it all so. But i wanted to us the 12 houseing and a 50mm or 60mm gate. I would like to tow good with them, but i havent ever fooled with twins. Schied an bd uses a s300 with a 57mm compressor wheel an 14 housing and with a s400 that i was talking about but bd's said theres was 1.00 a/r. And they call it a 700hp twins so i dont now, but if so i would think the hx35 would flow close to the s300 through the compressor housing and a big exteral gate would flow more than the double watesgates an the bigger exhaust housing that the s300 has. I was thinking quick spool up and mabey towing , but right now i have a 66/71/16 and i dont really want to loose much power.
But with the hybrid 40 with the 16 housing an the exteral gate why wouldnt it work good with the k31 or a small s400?
