1995 regular cab long bed Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins, 47rh. 238,000 miles.
I'm the second owner and have had the truck for the last 8 years and the last 80K miles. Cosmetically the truck is pretty rough, about whats expected for a non restored 1995 Ram. The dash is cracked and the paint is fading/disappearing on the roof and hood. It was a farm truck before I got it, so it has some dents and dings. It has been in south Georgia its entire life though, so there is no significant rust other than light surface rust. The A/C should work with a recharge, but it has a slow refrigerant leak. Mechanically the truck is in pretty good shape. It drives good and runs pretty strong. It has a Darren Morrison/Prostreet Diesel built 47rh with all three billet shafts and a billet DPC converter. It has a B&M floor shifter with 4th gear and lockup on dash switches. It has a tank sump and external electric pump near the tank. The shortblock is stock, but the head has been rebuilt with 100# valve springs and heavy duty push tubes. The head is fire ringed and it has ARP 625 studs. The pump is a 215 P pump with 5,000 rpm gov springs. It has 5x0.18 injectors. For air it has a side by side compound set up with a brace for the primary charger and has a billet s480 primary and billet s366 secondary. I currently daily drive the truck. It has been 12.01 at 115mph on a soft 15psi launch and worn out BFG all terrains. If anyone is interested in the truck and wants more details, let me know. Also, Darren Morrison at Pro Street Diesel in Cairo, GA installed all the performance parts on the truck and can attest to what's been done to the truck. I have receipts for the performance parts as well. The truck was stock up until about 3.5 years ago. I'm happy with the truck and its performance, but I'm ready for another project/toy. I would consider trades for a fox body mustang, a jeep wrangler, ski boat or Polaris Ranger/UTV.

12.1 slow for that setup

10-4. I figure it has some left in it. How fast would you expect this setup to be capable of running? The 12.1 was a a very soft launch, 10 maybe 15 pounds of boost at launch. I also only got that one clean run in that night. I blew a couple boots off that have since been replaced, but I haven’t been back to the track since.

Sorry that should have stated. People are into the 10s with that setup.

Understood. I literally been to the track twice with the truck. The first time was with a single s363 and I had some trouble spoiling at the line and never got a good pass in. The convertor was pretty tight. The next time was with the compounds and a looser convertor. Still only got like one good pass in because of blowing boots. Since have replaced the boots but haven’t been back to the track. I definitely think it has a lot more in it with a harder launch and some fine tuning of the combo.

IDK about sizing of the fuel system, but that's enough air for up around 1000hp isn't it? To expect 10s with that power shouldn't be too far fetched with good track and truck setup?

Oh, I’m not doubting you guys at all. Yes from what I know I would say that’s enough air for around 1K hp. I’m no expert particularly with 12 valves, so I relied on Darren Morrison and his knowledge quite a bit with this build. He and I discussed it and we felt like the stock 1995 pistons would melt down if we tried really pushing the truck. I’m pretty sure the stock pistons are a narrow bowl and we were worried about spraying outside the bowl and melting a piston. Also the P pump is relatively stock, so the pump may not provide the necessary fuel. I’m also no drag racing expert and am still learning the track and the truck. I’m sure a good driver plus bumping up the fuel would result in a much quicker and faster time. If the truck doesn’t sell, I’m definitely going back to the track and try to improve my time. I like the truck, and it’s not having any problems particularly. I’m only selling because I’m just ready for another toy. Thinking about building my 2006 cummins or getting a gas burner truck or mustang to build.

Bump. Would also consider trade for a regular cab, short bed, 2 wheel drive, gas V8 Ford or GM truck, think sport truck type of truck, preferably GM and LS powered. Thanks

Bump. Still driving it daily with no problems. Needs a new home though. I want to start a new project
