Need help 12V not charging (Has new alternator & batteries) still not charging. Anybody had a similar problem. Any help appreciated.

have you looked at the big 140amp fuse under the hood in the fuse box that controls your charging its a dealer only item it should have 2 screws holding it down its a burgandy fuse with a clear top i think its $5-$15 at the dealer hope this helps

Also check the gap on the tach sensor pickup on the balancer. Gotta be close for the ecm (which contains the voltage regulator) to work properly.

Factory spec is .050 gap.

Good luck,

I just removed stock tach sensor pickup and installed a Recall tach. Not using factory tach. Is there anyway to bypass this. Also installed Fluiddampner.

You can wire in an external voltage reg from any 1970 mopar. I have done it on a few conversions works good. Google 70's mopar reg and you will find a diagram to wire, really simple to do.
