97 7.3 question

my friends dad has a 97 7.3. and on the drivers side of the block under the exhaust manifold is a big tube/pipe about 3inches in diameter that runs from the fron to back of the block.

what is it?


its leaking at the front, how is it fixed?

Its the oil cooler. Unbolt and replace.

is that an expensive part? it looks like its pretty simple to replace...no?

All you need to do is pull it and replace the O-rings with a kit from International. You will need a way to press it back together.
