99 f250 transfer case leaking

Hey all i have a 99 f250 with a np273 transfer case its leaking from the front output shaft seal. It looks like i can pry out the old one and press in a new one. Has anyone replaced the front seal without having to remove the transfer case?
The case was leak free until we had some -50 degree temps on Monday.thanks for the help

I tried the search feature it came back with no results found. I typed transfer case leak, output shaft leak, np273 leaking. Maybe because im new to this forum it doesn't allow me to search.

If that seal is like me i would shrivel up in -50 to.

Im gonna check again this weekend maybe it just got to cold

Remove the yoke and the remove the old seal and replace with a new one. Pretty simple.
Get the numbers off of the old seal too.

And everyone likes a tight seal.
