I bought an AFE stage 1 Dry. It uses the bottom of the stock airbox, it was cheap so i guess i got what i payed for. figured it would be easy to swap if i needed to take it to the dealership.

I went to install it and the IAT sensor wont fit without hitting the filter! WTH! not even close needs some 3/4" spacers.
so i call up aFe talk to an engineer who does some investigating, first he says hes never seen it before and says hey yeah we didnt send out spacers for that kit. tells me to ziptie the sensor somwhere as its just a thermometer!! I asked him to send me some spacers anyway. 7 days later i get a huge box with a pair of 1/16th" thick nylon washers in it. Are you freaking kiddin me!:bang
so i guess i shoulda bought a filter and made my own being as its going to be rigged up anyway! I didnt even get any aFe Stickers outa the deal!!
I had higher expectations from a company like aFe!
