aftermarket cab light problems

i bought an 04.5 gmc last week, the dude had put some nice led smoked cab lights in it. I cannot get them to work they are getting power, but its very low voltage my test light would barely burn the light in it. I messed around with it just a little, am i going retarded or has anyone had similiar issues? HELP thanks!

are you sure the whole kit is aftermarket or did he just do the lights? If the whole thing's aftermarket I'd look at where the powers tapped from.

they were factory wired lights, just led aftermarket lights. There is a junction block on the right side of the dash similar to the fuse panel on the left side, in there that plug was loose for whatever reason and they were not getting hardly any connection.
