I'm in the process of closing the deal on a 2005 GMC ccsb D-Max. I'm new to the Duramax so I'm sorry if my question is a dumb one. I'm buying the truck out of Tennessee and have not physically seen it with my own eyes yet. The pictures show it has some type of Afe intake on it. Can I assume this truck has had the mouth piece changed or not. Can you tell the difference by just looking at it? I'm only asking because I've found lots of posts about the turbo mouthpiece on the early lly's being a poor design. Any input would be appreciated along with any other info. Thanks

aFe piece will have their name written across the top of the mouthpiece along with Bladerunner. If it doesn't have one, save the coin and buy a mp that fits the LBZ. Does the same thing at 1/3 cost.
