I had a 3 and now a 4 gauge pod up there...never had an issue. You can get that clear plastic Velcro stuff they supply with them at Radio Shack. Maybe add a few extra pieces?

I tried 2 radioshcks

They just had black Velcro ones

It's actually clear? Or white

This is sure annoying every time I get in the truck

I thought I'd call autometer for the heck of it

They are sending me what they use with the pods for free. Thanks

Said its a special one from 3m

Mine did that all the time got sick of it and moved everything to the pillar and steering column.... The real problem is that the black above the mirror is raised off of the glass and it cant fully adhear. Thats my guess

on edit now that I made your pic bigger you dont have the black stuff mine has LOL

i always use my handle so im not loosing it to put guages there.

theif will easily see them on the pillar

most people dont even notice my pod up on roof for a while.

Eh i just adjusted my mirror so that it basically holds the pod tight for now. One of these days I may get better Velcro and take care of it for good.

today i got the special felcro from auto meter. they gave me 6 pieces

its called 3M dual lock

installed it

will post if this works now
