SpeedSteed stainless manifold....yep

These are not stainless.

Is it better than a coated ats,pdi or other iron pieces or blanketed one

I like mine, although I wish I had a T6 now instead of T4. We will pull it off in the next couple months when we change the head. I thought it looked very good after a season of pulling (for us ~25 hooks).

As for cost they are right in the ballpark of all the rest. If you add on high temp coating to a T4 or T6 manifold they are very reasonable. The wastegate flanges are a nice option too. These pics are the first I have seen of the manifolds with the flanges.

The question I always hear is, "Will they react like a stock manifold and crack the exhaust flange tabs?"

These are just prices I pulled off websites for reference only.

From steed speed's website

T6 (no wastegate) $690
T6 (1 or 2 wastegates) $770
T3 or T4 (no wastegates $650
T3 or T4 (single wastegate) $690
T3 or T4 (dual wastegate) $720

These prices are shipped and they are all coated.

From DPP's website
Stainless Diesel T3 24v $650 T3 12v $675
Stainless Diesel T4 24v $750 T4 12v $775
Stainless Diesel T6 ~$800?
PDI $485 T4 $585 (PDP website)
ATS $470 T4 $560
HTT $468

Yup seen it on a few trucks, including one that 1/4's in the 140mph area.

What really sets them apart is the external gate options.

At what level is two wastegates needed?

If you have a vp44 truck that has 500hp injectors, 500hp tune, 500 octane fuel with some diesel, 5000hp on a 62mm single and run in the 5's. There are a bunch of them out there. Look on ebay and craigslist.

Small top charger, BIG bottom charger seems to benefit from the added flow of two gates.

Yeah, what material are they made from? The gate option is a nice addition!
