ATS triple Lok Torque Converter?

Well I found an ATS triple Lok Torque Converter in my local classifieds for $600. Said it has 3000 miles on it and that the guy loved it in his truck. He said it doesn't have the warranty though and has it listed for the 47re, but says it'll fit the 47rh too. I'm swappin my 92 to a 47rh soon and was wantin to get a better converter. What do you guys think about this deal? I've heard good and bad about ATS transmission stuff and was wondering what you think.

i would buy a new one off e bay for 700 or 800 bucks with a warrenty and not full of old tranny parts.
