How much boost have y'all run without shelling them? I've heard 55+ is bad news, others say 65-70psi......I won't be spinning over about 3,200rpm also.

they paint them purple! ^^^^^^^

which truck is this going on? seems like there are some better choices for turbos now for a better price. Unless you've already got it. I would think low 50's is all the more you should push it.

I believe ATS installs their own thrust bearing, but I have not seen a stock one to compare it to, so I can't say for sure.

I ran mine into the low 50s all the time, and had it refreshed once a year, and they always said it looked great and didn't really need the refresh.

I know they dont last when their owner thinks its necessary to run a strait 4an line of nitrous!

Had mine to 56psi all the time. It spooled real nice with small injectors and an auto, i was suprised. Daily drove it for a year on my 03'.

That's how I've seen most of 'em pop also...that along with 4,000+ rpm....

had mine to high 50's, and thrust took out the oil seal. Nice charger if it would live.

If you're looking for a small frame, htt has the billet 71.
