Axle carriers

Have two dana 80 drw axles one with an open 3.55 ratio and one with a lsd 4.10 can I combine them to run a 3.55 lsd or are the carriers gonna be different preventing this?? Looking to get some more top end out of my truck with just parts I have laying around.

There is a carrier break between the 3.55 and 4.10 gear sets, so no.

By the way its called a diff case, the carrier is the housing the axles are pressed into. And j-rod is correct, the diff cases are differant from 3.55 to 4.10

Its common to mix them up, I used to. Then I went to work for Dana Corp. and they set me straight. By the way I wanted to say axle tubes.
