Went for my yearly inspection sticker today and was told if I come back next year without new ball joints I will fail. They passed me for this year but I will need to fix them so what do you guys recommend for ball joints? Where are you buying from and how much is it going to cost for parts?
Anything else need to be changed while I have the front end apart?

Moog.

Good time to do brakes or unit bearings since they will have to come off to access the ball joints.

.......or based on a phone call I just recieved:

good timing...i JUST sent this email out to a customer.

"I bought them for a customer once here:

(2) : MOK80026
(2) : MOK8607T

at

but recently, someone told me they found them cheaper locally...so you might give that a shot with those part #s.

Actually...i just found the old invoice on it...seems the price has gone up since when i ordered.

Parts Ordered
2002 - 2002 Ford Ball Joint Price: $61.95 Qty: 2 Part #: MOK8607T

2002 - 2002 Ford Ball Joint Price: $41.95 Qty: 2 Part #: MOK80026"

the kits are pretty expensive...and what good is a lifetime warranty if
you have to mail order the parts back and forth !?!

i installed autozone duralasts...life time warranted, they loaned me the
TOOLS (lets see you get that from a mail order supplier) & they were
cheaper than the moogs (yet still had grease fittings).

if they go bad ill just take 'em back and get replacements from !
