Yessir you can. The blemish in the first sump i had on here was just a small indentation in the machining process, it can be seen in the pic.
The blemish in the sump i have currently, is the feed port was drilled incorrectly so it has a plug in the original feed port, and a second port was drilled and tapped, and has a 1/2" barb fitting installed. The use of the 2nd feed port (the one that is off center) will not be able to be used due to its placement and the mounting studs.
