BMW 335D, thoughts?

BTW when cleaning the intake a pressure washer hooked up to your hot water heater works great.

Yes, this is the way we cleaned the '05CRD Jeep of my father-in-law's. Make sure not to overwork your hot water heater. lol sure does make a mess of things when the relief trips. lol

I've about gave up on finding a decent tdi so I started looking at these things. Found the one below, doesn't seem like a bad deal if it's just a vacuum line. Thoughts?

____2011 BMW 335d Premium+, 76k miles, Clean title, BEST DEAL ANYWHERE

Looks clean.

Turbo Underboost Condition means the MAF is reading more air going in than what the MAP and RPMs are calculating out to be. Could just be a hose, but could also be a turbo. Worst case would be a bent valve probably.

Looks like a bargain to me. Probably a stuck egr valve due to carbon buildup, I've read that it will throw the same code.

Buy it, delete the egr, scr, dpf, and get a mild or wild tune, get a carbon build up (CBU) cleaning kit to clean the upper end and drive it.

I'd bet there's a pretty good chance you can get the warranty extended since it just expired in Feb!

This reminds me of a C300d that was flogging like a motha fukker in front of me the other day! It was funny though because it was a young chick just trying to bait me it to some fun, no bueno with the kids in the car though!

Where'd you purchase your delete kit and are you happy with it quality wise?

Purchased from AARodriguez Corp at European Tuning by Malone and JR AutoTuning

I bought the P&L downpipe which was perfect. Gutted my factory SCR and removed all the urea tank/pump/lines. Bought the EGR delete race pipe, swirl flap delete plugs for the intake manifold, all were excellent quality. Also bought my tune from him.

my delete pipe and exhaust was done by jesse bohl. tuning from over seas, its a bit agressive. when deleting, i highly recomend a lift pump, the factory pump wasnt designed to run as much as it requires when deleted and timing/pressures altered, injectors arent to terribly priced, as mine are not stock, just need a modded cp3 to go with new chargers and intercooler.

What's yours running?

Yep, figured it's a hose, one of the waste gate actuators or a control valve. Doubt it's a valve unless all the carbon made one stick.

Could be, the deletes would fix that lol. I'd like a sport model with black or saddle tan interior. Could get this one all squared away and hang a for sale sign on it to see if I could make a few grand while I put some miles on it.

I thought about that but I'd bet they'd frown upon the deletes. Makes you wonder why they didn't get it fixed before it ran out though. Unless it happened just after it did run out, talk about luck haha

This car was my second choice, I would be willing to bet it could be had for 15 or less.

The current auction price for an 11 with nav etc and 62k on the clock is about 13, market value of 15,500, the one linked above has been at the dealer for 2 months. they should be ready to deal with it, talk to Cameron, super nice gent who knows BMW's. I really wanted the nav screen for it's other features is the only reason I did not make an offer on it.

Made a 900 mile round trip Saturday to pick mine up, no pics yet, it's dirty as all get out from riding the trailer through 4 hours of rain that ranged from mist to frog drowning.

I found a light blue 2011 Msport, loaded up. Soooo tempting. Do I really want a car payment again?

Drive it and you will! I took mine around to the gearhead buddies etc today, everyone had a big grin and the same comment "I'd get in trouble".

Thanks again for the test drive! Have you removed the alphabet soup yet?
