Boost reference tube size

Is the afc controlled by volume or psi for boost reference? I don’t have the original hose so I just used a 1/8” copper line for the reference or do I need to get the original size?

Pressure, the internal volume of the assembly is fairly low so it doesn't take much flow for movement.
