Anyone use this one?

I have thought about purchasing one of these as well for a look inside the next time I pull injectors. These look a lot nicer and a helluva lot cheaper than the Bosch units for sale at the local O'Reilly's.

I'll let you know when I get mine in the mail. Thank you for posting this. I went with the 5.5mm one so I can get in spark plug holes.

I bought one of the USB style ones back in college when I had no money.

It looks like they've gotten better (with lights and 720p), but mine was garbage. Don't expect it to compare to a Snap-On one you'd find at a shop. Mine made me think of what a Snap-On one would look like if you put a plastic grocery bag over the lens and could barely see thorough it!

Like I said, mine was from a while back though when they were just coming out.
I'd be curious to hear how ours does. I think that'd be an awesome thing to have with an .apk and micro usb so you could use your phone as the display!

I was JUST talking to a friend about getting a borescope last night, I'll have to point him towards these..... what a coincidence

I've been watching a guy on youtube, "Chris Fix" and he uses these to look at piston tops after running the different fuel additives and cleaners. The picture is super clear for him, really does look like 720p. But I read a couple reviews on both of those above that just completely bash their picture quality and the LED's being too bright lol. So I was looking for more opinions.

I'll find the video and post it here.

Where did you find a 5mm? Those were both 8.5, which supposedly measure out to a true 9.5-10mm.

I'd like a smaller one to look in the vw engines, and small gas engines.

Type in 5.5mm borescope in the Amazon search engine. Many options.

And this one because the head holds shape.

They work well. For an automotive tool I highly suggest the second one that the head holds shape. The first one is like having whiskey d1ck trying to get it in..... I'm using them on my tablet I have for work. Picture quality is fair, both have adjustable lighting. The software package they come with allows you to take pictures and video.

Well worth the money for what it is.

I missed that post. Thanks!
