Broken injection line

This makes for one heck of mess under the hood

Anybody ever see the whole line separate at the ball? I have cracked lines before but nothing like this. Probably from repeated over tightening I am sure.

What are those delivery valve holders?

I have never seen them with a regular hex before.

I noticed the new lines I recived have less gap between the collet and the nut. Is this an improvment that was made? has anybody broken one of these newer style lines?

Don't have any experience with them but mine look like that one.....Just make sure to use a crows foot and torque them to 25ft.lbs, that should keep them in better shape.
