build date on 99 ??

need a turbo for a 99- door sticker rubbed off. how do you tell if its a early or late 99 from the vin#

I’d just check the intake manifold inlets (where the intercooler Y-pipes attach). If they are 2-inch diameter it’s an early ’99. If they’re 3-inch it’s a late ’99.

Early ‘99s had noticeably smaller compressor housings (smaller physically and only had 2-in compressor outlet).
