On the truck in my Sig. 2wd 6spd Ex-Cab/SB Autozone quoted $20 for a carrier bearing for the Driveshaft (Carrier and Bearing). My gut tells me it should be more. I mean if it lasts 50K Miles $20 is doable.

It will be the same bearing either way.

On edit, a good brand is $38

Didn't think they did at all but have never owned one that came from the factory as a short bed.

No transfer case makes for a longer drive shaft. I thought it was weird the first time I saw one too.

Mine is a 2wd auto with an aluminum drive shaft. No carrier bearing.

I feel lucky. Out of all the QC/SBs out there only the 2wd 6spds had carrier bearings. Thanks for the help guys.

I don't make any times yet but Soon. Always run slicks though and some fine tuning and it will hook.

the one from autozone was not right for my 4wd, even though it showed it fit. so be cautious

napa also has them, and they are more into the 100 range.

I had to get mine from the dealer. None of the parts stores could get the right part for my qc lb 4x4
