i have a cat turbo that i could possibly get ahold of and would like to find some info on it before i decide to trade. it appears to be a s300g with a 57 or 60mm not sure didnt get to remove the housing and get a good measurement. but it appears to have a 65mm turbine with a 14cm non gated housing.

the numbers on the tag are:

OR6631E
26194 00359

just curious as to if this would be a good one to get ahold of, or to pass up?

thanks

michael

Can't really go wrong with a S300 unless it is just too small for your truck. Good upgrade for the stocker.

Take the covers off and check the wheels for damage. Then if the price is right go for it.

i forgot to mention that it appears to have a t4 flange also. i am curious as if this could be upgraded to say the 62mm or 64 mm inducer

I had a t3 flanged wastegated cat C7 turbo (58mm compressor wheel) and it was awesome! very durable turbo! (42psi turbo barks for over a year and a half and NO shaft play!!) made 463hp with just a comp and jammer 5's.

I wonder what came of this. I found the model number from CAT: S2ESL087

Mine came from a KAL C7, 62/65/80 housing. Runs like hell for a street turbo.

Yes these turbo are durable and last a long time and move air well too

Hey Biggy where did you get that turbo at? Wouldn't mind something a touch bigger on my tow pig.
