Caterpillar C15 Acert Turbos.

Curious if anyone has the specs on both turbos and if they are interchangable with their normal counterparts.

Mainly interested in the LP turbo and how it compares to the other GT55s and if the traditional housings for the aftermarket GT55s will fit it properly.

They do not have MWE grooves and they also use a smaller inducer diameter.

AFAIK the turbine wheel is same-same from oem to aftermarket/performance unit and I don't see where it would make any sense to change the flange or shroud dimensions...

I have a C15LP on my bench but I don't have an aftermarket unit to compare it with.

Weston, would you have any thoughts on this. I know you have been looking into the GT55s.
