Well we just put the new motor in and now I am not charging. We used the alternator from the old engine that was running and it worked fine when we pulled it out on Tuesday. I have checked the battery connections and they are tight and the plug is tight where the alternator hooks up. I have a code p2509 that is "powerdown data lost error". Any thought of where I should start to look? We also deleted the heater grid but I don't think that would cause it. thanks for your help.
