Compound Turbo 12v high egt issues

You probably should figure out what setup you're going to run, and then decide. Running nitrous is only going to make it hotter and less easy to tune.

Gating around the secondary to the hotpipe won't help your boost problem, you'll just make it worse.

Is the HX52 gated?

The hx52 is not gated, I'm gating around the secondary to the primary now. I would be adding a gate to atmosphere if necessary.
 
i would try gating your primary so you can get the pressure ratio up to where it needs to be on the secondary and still maintain your 85 psi total boost.
 
If your primary is making 55 psi, your second stage is making a whopping 6 psi. He is screaming put me in the game coach!
