The 2014 Cornhusker Classic is March 21-22, 2014. This is a PPL sanctioned event held by the Nebraska Bush Pullers. 3 Classes per night. The 2.6 class is Saturday night.

Application is due prior to March 1st, 2014. No applications will be accepted after March 1, 2014 and the fee is $150 made payable to Husker Pull Promotions. If you are not a member of the Nebraska Bush Pullers you will need to pay an additional $80 for a 1 day membership to cover insurance. Your registration will include 4 (four) all weekend pit passes. To receive all pit passes each person must sign insurance waiver. (NBPI membership is only $65 on top of the PPL membership)

"We have an additional $3000 in payout to be divided among 6 classes for $500 per class. The top 3 in the 9200 Superfarm, 6000 Superstock, 6000 Modified, 9500 Limited Pro, 8000 2.6 Diesel, and the 6500 Unlimited Superstock will receive this money in addition to the normal Bush payout!!!"
 
were thinking of bringing a truck down , how long will the track be? never been there before

For those that have never been to this pull, it is a good idea is to show up early. They put all of the vehicles into the building before the show. Last year they started putting them inside at 930 am for the 7pm show. I would recommend being on site 3 hours early or more.
 
I have to admit that I am not always a huge fan of the "noise makers" at the pulls, but I am looking forward to seeing this run on Friday night.

What ended up breaking on the megatron truck? Sucked for a few of us from South Dakota that came down last night that the Cummins trucks overall had a bad night. That white duramax and Husker's truck are strong runners that's for sure.
 
He said ring and pinions. Looked like front driveline when it happened?
I apologize for our stack issue. That was a bad way to end a good pass.
Considering at least 3 of the cummins trucks stated their new motors for the first time this week ( one of them 16 hrs before the event started), I thought it went fairly well.
The Mattheson duramax made a good pass.
 
We had fun up there. Was the most well organized pull I have been to bar none. I also apologize for the excessive smoke. We had a wastegate regulator fail and bypassed ALOT of drive pressure.

Oh don't get me wrong... we're glad we made the trip and still had a good time. We just had a couple duramax guys with us and we wanted to avoid the excessive **** talking that'd come from a duramax winning... because we all know how much chevy owners like to run their mouths. :lolly:

I was rooting for you guys, I bought my Dana 80 off your brother I think and he was super cool. Had no problems answering a bunch a questions I asked him. Looked like you guys had a good run going. Did they shut you down because the smoke or did something else happen? First indoor pull for us so not even sure if they do something like that.
 
We got red flagged for smoke. Which was the right thing to do.
I haven't seen many videos either. Our partial pass is on our Facebook page "Jarecke Brothers Diesel"
 
I'd like to see some videos as well. My wife only got mine on film, I'll see if I can get it on youtube tonight.
 
My buddy got your run 97crewcab. He literally just showed it too me. Seems like they hesitated or something to give you the red. As far as you got, they might as well have let you finish. Lol
