Crate engines

I'm not sure if this should go here, 'get a quote', or where, so move the thread/call me an idiot as necessary.

Anyways, does anyone here have the ability to get ahold of any 4/6bt crate engines Straight from cummins? Is that where the long blocks that the diesel shops "stock" come from, or are they all rebuilt from cores? Does anyone care one way or the other?


I ask because I may have a few soon if they're legit, and not just a waste of time.

All the ones I see are rebuilt, they want cores back.

I guess my question is, would anyone be interested in brand new long blocks?
Or is it too cheap just to snap some core up and rebuild?
