Ya. Find me one tranny builder that don't claim that. Jakes along with several more have had the 80e fiqured out for some time, it's been much more popular in the fast turbo cars than I ever knew. I see it becoming a lot more popular in the diesel scene before to long, the strength of the th400 that Ive loved for years along with O.D. and lock up would sure show a e.t. improvment over so many others slush boxes in thier racer. It would sure test the internal strengths of the unit Im sure but having a tad bit looser stall speed and L/U on a wot switch sure sounds like fun.
